The coastal location and harsh weather of Cape Cod has shaped a vernacular architecture that tends to be inward-looking. In our addition to an existing Cape style house, Also Office opened the home to light and views by extending it into a new garden. Custom-designed millwork integrates workspaces, bookshelves, and lighting, as it wraps around the room and frames garden views.
