We are inspired by all forms of culture, the natural and built environment, and our clients. Our approach is guided by empathy and the practical concerns of designing places for people. We are motivated by the simple desire to improve the spaces where we live, work, and play, through thoughtful design.

Evan Erlebacher is the founder and director of Also Office. Prior to establishing Also Office, Evan co-founded and directed Present Architecture, where they were the recipients of an AIA New England Design award and winners of the Master Plan Design Competition for New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Evan’s work has been featured in various publications and exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the Museum of the City of New York. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in History, and earned his M.Arch degree at Columbia University GSAPP. Evan worked at Zaha Hadid Architects from 2007-2011 where he designed a diverse range of cultural, residential, and commercial buildings. He is currently a NEW INC Mentor at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. He is a Registered Architect in New York State.
